If you commit a crime on Vaharis 6,
there’s more than one way
to work off your sentence…

Mated

Chapter One

Sam heard someone coming down the hallway, so he looked up, his stomach in knots. He’d been brought to the prison nearly six hours ago, and all of the other prisoners had been taken to the regular holding area.
But not him.
He’d been left alone for the past four hours. No one had come to check on him, not even to look in the small window in the door. Had they forgotten about him? Or was his former employer going to press some kind of special charges? The warden on Vaharis 6 was greedy, and his twisted creativity knew no bounds, according to what Sam had heard. The prison on Vaharis 6 had become a goldmine recently, thanks to the new warden and his schemes for “lending” low-level criminals.
Would Sam really be sold to a keeper for the duration of his sentence? He knew that would mean either working like a slave or being fucked half to death. He sighed and looked to the door, wondering why the footsteps had stopped. He heard nothing now, which made him worry even more. The waiting itself was killing him. He’d prefer to know the worst sooner rather than later. His former employer had been good to him, but there had been a problem. No, two problems—his wife and his daughter. Both women had propositioned him. He’d turned the wife down, fearful of what might happen, but he’d been unable to resist the daughter when she’d crawled into his bed one night. After a month of fucking, she’d gotten tired of him.
But then the mother had found out what was going on. She’d grown bitter about being rejected, so she’d told her husband that Sam had tried to rape her. According to her story, when she’d rebuffed him, he’d then forced himself on their “innocent” daughter. The daughter had then backed up her story, apparently because her mother controlled the money in the family and had threatened to cut the daughter off. After his arrest a few days ago, Sam had stood by his plea of not guilty at first, but the public advocate had convinced him admitting the crime would get him a better sentence while fighting the charge would likely make things much worse.
He still didn’t know exactly what his sentence would be. He’d been carted off to the prison without being given any other information. He hadn’t even gone before a judge or anything. The public advocate had bolted for the door after signing off on something, saying nothing about potential pleas or probation. Sam had been furious. Now, he would go through life labeled as a rapist … if he made it out of the prison in this first place. He’d heard stories about the prison, and he feared that the reality might be even worse than what he’d heard.
Footsteps sounded again, and this time Sam heard men talking and laughing. The door opened, and a guard looked around. “Sam?” he asked.
“Yes.”
The guard gestured for him to get up. “Come on. Your arrangements have all been settled.”
“Arrangements?”
“Yeah. Alternate sentence.”
“A keeper, you mean.”
“Kind of. They’ll go over all that.” The guard opened a door and pointed inside. “Pelon will explain. Take care of things.”
“All right.” Sam walked in and saw a very cluttered office. He stood there as the guard closed the door, and eventually the man at the desk turned around. He had slightly yellow skin, but then, many who worked within the prison did. The mix of elements in the purified air had to accommodate many species, and this skin tone seemed to be one side effect for humanoids.
“Sit,” Pelon said.
Sam obeyed and waited.
“Your DNA scan shows that you’re a shifter. Can you please clarify your heritage?”
“Clarify how?”
“Where you were born. If you’re full blood or half blood. Exact type. Our scan shows feline, but we wish to be sure.”
Sam felt violated, even though he’d known about the DNA scan, but then fear set in. Why did it matter if he was a shifter? If his offer was scientific “studies”, he was turning it down flat. “Born on the second moon. Came down to the main planet when I was ten. Parents were both full blood. They’re dead. I’m a panther. I have no defects and can shift fully.” He was used to giving this rundown to doctors, but why did the prison want to know about this?
“Wonderful,” Pelon said. “Today is your lucky day.”
“I can’t agree with you. Sorry,” Sam said, frowning.
“Well, maybe I should explain. Given the, ah, status of the ladies in question, you’ve been given a sentence of five years.” He paused as if for effect, or perhaps to give Sam a moment to take the news in and compose himself. “No one of your size and strength ever survives that long here. But we have a deal for you. A very good one.”
“A keeper. I get it. What terms?”
Pelon tilted his head, the flexibility of his neck hinting that his heritage wasn’t completely human. Very few pure humans existed anymore, though most of the prison guards and employees were at least half human. “Not exactly. This man, Laxus, wishes to completely buy your freedom outright. If you agree to his terms. We’ll sign a contract with him, if you in turn sign his contract.”
Completely buying off a five-year sentence upfront would cost a fortune. Who could want him that much without having even met him? And why? Shifters were far from rare, especially panther shifters. There were like up to three million across the galaxy. “What does he want?”
“A mate.”
“Sex, you mean.”
“No. Matehood. True matehood. Basically, he wishes to court you in hopes of making you his mate.” Pelon smiled. “Obviously he’s rather optimistic, so I’d say you’ll be treated very well.”
“I don’t get it. Shifters don’t join in homosexual unions the way other races do. They fuck, yeah, but they don’t enter into the mate bond.”
“But it’s not forbidden. And he has special circumstances.”
“What kind of special circumstances?”
“He’s been burned very badly over parts of his body, so he has scars. And when he shifts, his fur doesn’t come in fully. He also has one defect. His eyes never completely shift to look human. He’s considered inferior by other shifters, of course. But he wants a true mate.”
“A male one. That’s not true matehood for shifters. There must be offspring.”
“Well, a marriage then.” Pelon leaned forward on his desk. “Look, what I’m saying is this other shifter can’t get a mate because of shifter prejudices. Plus, he prefers men sexually, which as you point out is taboo for an official mating. He’s desperate. He wants love and companionship.” Pelon paused again to let this information sink in, or so Sam assumed. “He’s six hours away by shuttle. Tell me you’re up for it, and he’ll be here by the morning. In the meantime, we’re instructed to give you a private room and treat you well. He’s going to pay quite handsomely for all of this, including you.”
“What will the contract I sign with him say?”
“You will go with him and give him one year to win you. One full year. If you still don’t want to be his mate, he will let you go.”
“And that will be in the contract?” He didn’t like the idea at all, but Pelon was right. He’d never last five years in this prison.
“Yes. I can give it to you now so you can review it until he arrives.”
“All right.”
Pelon smiled. “We have a deal then.”
“Meeting him and looking over the contract? Yeah, we got a deal,” Sam said, partially sealing his fate.
* * * *
Laxus took several deep breaths before leaving the cabin and making his way to the door of his ship. He’d landed ten minutes ago, but he’d requested some time to collect himself. Given the money Laxus had put down, the warden had been more than accommodating. He thought back to the image he’d been sent. Sam was roughly half Laxus’s age, but shifters lived so long it would hardly matter. Nothing about Sam’s appearance made him stand out, but Laxus didn’t care. Sam had brown hair and eyes and possessed an average build, but he’d looked into the camera with a hint of defiance in his gaze.
Laxus had reviewed the charges Sam had been convicted of, but he’d also looked into the family that had accused him. He had good reason to believe Sam innocent of what he’d been convicted of, but the truth would come out in time. Laxus longed for a mate so badly he could honestly say he didn’t care. He knew he could easily control and dominate the much smaller man. As he walked down the ramp, he imagined covering Sam’s body with his and sliding into him. His panther roared with need, but he took another calming breath to hold it together.
The warden smiled up at him as he walked down the ramp. “Greetings, doctor. We are honored to have been able to fulfill your need. I trust your journey was good?”
“Yes. How is he?” He didn’t want to make small talk or listen to the warden’s smarmy niceties.
“He’s quite well, though a bit confused. One doesn’t expect to be treated so well in a prison.”
Laxus chuckled. “I’m sure.”
“I must apologize for one thing,” the warden said as they began walking away from the ship.
Now he frowned. “And what is that?”
“He was detained a bit longer than we anticipated as we awaited your reply and reviewed the contracts. It was about six hours.”
Laxus stiffened, not liking that. “Did anyone harass him?”
“Oh, no. We took everyone else away to the holding cells and left him alone.”
“But he was given food and water once you came for him and explained my offer?”
“Yes, right away.” The warden ushered him through a large sliding door. “He was given a room and a copy of your contract.”
“And he’s in agreement and ready to sign?”
“I believe so. I did monitor his vitals as you asked. My computer shows he slept fitfully, paced a bit. But when given breakfast an hour ago he said he was ready to meet you and seemed to be at ease, given the situation.”
“Good. Take me to his room and let me introduce myself. I’ll let a guard know when we’re ready to leave.”
The warden smiled again and gave a little head nod. They walked a few hundred more feet, and then the warden opened a door by pressing a large red button on the wall. “He’s all yours.”
Laxus nodded to the warden. All mine? Soon enough. He walked in and closed the door behind him by pressing a much smaller button just inside the door. He’d worn all black because he knew it suited him, and he’d pulled his dark hair back with a leather cord, but still he worried a bit. Sam had been told about his flaws, and Laxus knew the other shifter would likely stare at his rounded, cat-like yellow eyes at first. Most shifters did. His scars from the fire years ago couldn’t be seen while he was fully clothed. They would only be seen if he undressed for Sam, and despite his anxiety, he hoped that would be soon. Laxus turned and saw Sam sitting at a table, a data pad in his hand.
“Reviewing our agreement?” Laxus asked as he strode over.
Sam eyed him up and down before fixing his gaze on Laxus’s face. “One final glance.”
Laxus sat across the table from him. “I’m Laxus. Do you have any questions?”
Sam looked to the data pad. “You’ve been very specific in your … terms.”
“I have.”
“You may touch me anytime you wish, anywhere on my body and in any way you like?”
“Yes.”
“But I must give permission for a kiss on the lips?” Sam raised one eyebrow, as if questioning the logic.
Laxus nodded. “Very intimate. More emotional.”
“Yet you’re allowed to touch or suck my cock without my consent.”
“Is that a problem?”
“Sucking my cock is far more intimate than a kiss.”
“I suppose. I wish to give you pleasure so I can win your heart. Then, I hope, you will want to kiss me. Making another come is about desire, but a kiss is about affection. At least to me.”
Sam stared at the screen. “It says you need permission to fuck me with your cock, but if I sign this, you’re allowed to penetrate me with anything else without my permission.” He looked up. “What do you mean?”
“Well, if I’m sucking you, I might tease you with my fingers. Or a toy or plug of some kind.” Laxus smiled, already scenting that this talk aroused Sam. “I want to pleasure you, as I said. But I will not spill my seed inside you until you ask me for it. And I will be careful. I won’t hurt you.”
Sam sucked his lower lip in.
Laxus leaned forward. “If things go the way I think they will, you’ll beg for me to fuck you.”
Sam looked away. “You can’t fuck me without permission. That’s covered.”
Laxus eyed Sam a moment before he said, “You feared that when you heard a deal had been offered to you? That you’d become someone’s fuck toy?”
Sam shrugged, though he looked embarrassed.
“Of course you did. Everyone here knows most keepers use the prisoners as sex slaves.”
“But that’s not what I’ll be?”
Laxus stood and went to Sam, taking him by the chin and making him look up. “No. You will never love me if I rape you. Seduction is what I have in mind.”
“I’ve never fucked a man. Never wanted to.”
“Yet I’m picking up on the scent your arousal.”
Sam turned bright red. “I can smell yours, too.” He swallowed. “It’s strong.”
“And I’ve been without a lover for about a year.” With his other hand, he reached down and palmed his erection through his trousers. “I’m hard and just aching to bend you over this table and lick your hole until you open up and start moaning, begging me to impale you.” He ran one finger over Sam’s lips. “I think you’d cry out beautifully as I fucked you. Claimed you. Filled you with my seed.”
Sam drew back, but Laxus saw a tremor move up his body as the scent of his arousal grew stronger. “But if I sign, you need permission to do that?”
“Yes.”
Sam looked up. “You’ll control yourself?”
“I swear it. You can report me if I violate this agreement, just as I can report you.”
Sam looked at the pad and took up the stylus on the table. “And if I don’t wish to be your mate at the end of one year, I’m free?”
“Yes.”
Sam hesitated almost a minute before signing. He set the pad down slowly. When he stood up, he wiped his hands on his pants. “Then I guess I’m ready.”
Laxus saw the moisture where Sam had wiped his hands. Had he been that nervous? Laxus really couldn’t blame him if he had been. He cupped Sam’s cheek and bent to kiss the side of his face, just by his ear. A shiver moved over Sam, and he halfway closed his eyes. “I know it must be confusing. My need is so great I’m affecting you, despite your lack of interest in males. My beast never fully recedes, when you get right down to it.” He drew back, still caressing Sam’s face. “But before we go, tell me how you were treated.”
Sam seemed surprised by the question, blinking before he began. “I was brought here from the justice center. I sat in a room alone for several hours. Then they told me about your offer. I was brought here and fed. Everyone kept asking if I wanted things. Acted like I was important.”
Laxus sighed and smiled. “Good. I paid a lot of money for you to be treated well, and I wasn’t about to leave without making sure you had been.”
Sam gazed up at him, looking uncertain. He chewed his lip, his brows close together and his eyes holding a definite uneasiness.
“What’s wrong?” Laxus asked.
“I don’t like being in anyone’s debt. How much have you paid?”
He didn’t want to reveal that, but he sensed Sam would be insistent on this point. “What does it matter?”
“I want to know.”
“I didn’t do an outright credit transfer,” he said, trying to appease Sam’s curiosity. “I paid in a mix of gold, silver, and Dularean opals.”
“Then you’re from Dularea?”
“I was born on Vollon, but I live on Dularea now. That’s where we’re going.”
“You still haven’t said how much.”
“Can we get to know each other more first?”
Sam crossed his arms and shifted his weight. “Dularean opals are worth a thousand credits each, and that’s for small ones with flaws.”
Sam’s former employer had been a banker, Laxus knew. “Yes.”
Sam sighed. “Will you tell me for a kiss?”
Laxus considered. “I don’t want to exchange your favors for anything. Not ever.”
Sam laughed. “You’re about to buy me! Are you kidding?”
“I’m not buying you. I bought your freedom. Very different.”
Sam shifted his weight again. “How about this … you tell me, and I may be grateful.”
“Grateful?”
Sam nodded.
Laxus could feel the need coming off Sam. He wondered if Sam wanted to kiss him or touch him. Was he doing this so he could get what he wanted without admitting he wanted it? The idea of Sam eagerly expressing how “grateful” he was clouded Laxus’s judgment. For better or worse, Laxus gave in. “Three million.”
Sam rocked forward, and Laxus had to catch him. The younger man simply stared up at him, his mouth slightly open.
“You see why I didn’t wish to tell you,” Laxus whispered. “It was a five-year sentence. What did you expect?”
“I’m not worth that. No one is.”
Laxus shook his head. “A life is priceless, especially if I find what I long for with you.”
Sam withdrew from his grip and moved to the door, his arousal seeming to have evaporated. “We should go then.”
“Sam, I—”
“Later,” Sam snapped, hugging himself as he waited by the door. After a few seconds, he added a quiet, “Please.”
“All right.” Laxus could do nothing but walk over and open the door. He put his arm around Sam and guided him from the room. He felt like a fool for letting his lust make him weak. He’d imagined Sam was using his question as a sneaky way to initiate a kiss or something else, but it seemed Laxus had been wrong. Now, Sam was shocked and upset, putting a new wall between them before they’d even begun to establish a connection.
* * * *
Sam couldn’t stop thinking of it no matter how hard he tried. He lay on a cot in one of the small cabins on Laxus’s ship, the number running through his head over and over again.
Three million.
Laxus could say he hadn’t bought Sam all he wanted to—they both knew he had. Sam rolled to his back. How could he turn the man down now? He might as well spread his legs for Laxus the moment they landed.
A little shiver ran through him again. The other shifter’s arousal had gotten to him. He’d been embarrassed by it, especially when Laxus had mentioned it outright. He hadn’t gotten an erection—not the way Laxus had—but his body had responded to the other man’s palpable need. He’d had the same experience with female shifters before, but never to this extent. He’d never felt such strong arousal coming from another and couldn’t understand what about him might excite Laxus at all, let alone this much.
He shifted on the cot again as he tried to get comfortable. Footsteps sounded nearby. Sam knew they’d left orbit, so Laxus was free to move around the ship, which they would be on for nearly six hours. Laxus, to his credit, had seemed to get how uncomfortable Sam was. He’d hurried through exchanging pleasantries with the warden and ushered Sam into the ship, showing him to this room and then leaving him alone.
The footsteps came closer, and soon Laxus stood in the doorway. “Do you need anything?” he asked softly.
Sam sat up and drew his knees to his chest. “I got some water from the refresher station. I’m fine.”
“Are you hungry?”
Sam shook his head. “I don’t need anything.”
“Not even to talk?” Laxus asked as he crossed his arms over his chest.
Sam looked the man up and down. “The contract only laid out what happens if I don’t accept your offer at the end of one year. But what happens if I’m not worth the investment? What if, at the end of the year, you don’t want me the way you think you will?”
Laxus came into the room and sat on the bed beside Sam. “In one year, one of two things will happen. I’ll ask you to stay, or I’ll ask you where you wish to go.”
“But you’ll have spent all of that money for nothing.”
“A year of companionship doesn’t seem like nothing.” He held Sam’s gaze. “You’d have died a very gruesome death after a lot of suffering in that prison, and you know it. Unjust, wouldn’t you say, since you’re innocent.”
Sam blinked. “Who told you? How did you know? I shut up about it when I was taken from the justice center. I was warned not to talk about being innocent. Told the guards would treat me badly.”
“I couldn’t be sure, but I looked into the family you worked for.” He shook his head. “Deplorable lot. Always involved in scandals. But bankers are important men on Vaharis 6.”
“So you don’t think I raped two women?”
“That’s not what you were charged with exactly.”
“You know what I mean.”
“I do. Did you actually sleep with either of them?”
“The daughter. She’s of age. Big tits. Very eager. We slept together about a month, off and on according to her whims. Then it all went sour when the mother found out. And of course, that was after the daughter was already done with me and had moved on to someone else.”
Laxus licked his lips. “Was it worth risking your job?”
“No. I mean, it was good, but I gave in because she just crawled into my bed. She was naked and rubbing against me. Her breasts were soft and full, the nipples hard. And she was ready for me. Her pussy was so wet, and…” He trailed off, blinking.
Laxus cleared his throat. “Sorry. I think my pheromones are still affecting you.”
Sam looked away. “Do you like women at all?”
“Yes. I’ve had female lovers. I just prefer men. And you know how shifter society feels about that.”
Sam nodded. “I do.”
“And there’s my eyes. And scars.”
Sam looked him over. “They said you’d been burned.”
Laxus untucked his shirt and drew it over his head. He turned to show his stomach and side to Sam. It looked as if the flames had licked over his skin, the flesh shiny and melted in many places.
“It keeps your fur from coming in when you shift?”
“Yes. I’m not a very attractive panther.”
Sam eyed the man’s muscles and the dark curls partially covering them. “You work on your human form to make up for it?”
Laxus edged closer. “You find it appealing?”
Sam didn’t know how to respond. “You’re big and strong. More than twice my size. I’m impressed.”
“I don’t care if you’re impressed. I care if you’re attracted to me.”
“Not attracted to men.”
Laxus took one of Sam’s hands and put it to his chest. He moved it down so Sam’s palm and fingers slid over the hard muscles. “You sure?” Laxus asked.
“It’s your pheromones, like you said. You’re very … masculine.”
“Hmmm.”
Sam withdrew his hand, testing the waters. Laxus released him right away but didn’t move back. “What do you want me to do?”
“Do?”
“Yes. Seems wrong of me to deny you after what you’ve done.”
Laxus sighed, sounding perturbed. “Let’s get this straight, all right? I’m the top surgeon on Dularea. I am certified to operate on twelve different species, and I have enough knowledge to work on nearly thirty others in times of crisis or war. I’m highly valued and respected. Yes, I paid three million credits for you, but I make twice that in a year. I’ve been on Dularea for five years and live alone. I live frugally, and honestly I don’t even miss the money I paid for you, though I would never tell anyone but you that. I hope I can trust you. I acted more desperate than I was, as if I offered my life savings, so the warden wouldn’t try to milk me for more. I was lucky he jumped at my offer and didn’t bother to poke around in my life. He’s a greedy man, and I only went to him to increase my chances of finding someone.” He smiled. “But I’m very glad I did.”
“Oh.” Sam felt like an idiot, but he couldn’t have known all of that. He’d been given no personal information about Laxus.
“Oh? Is that all you can say?”
“For now. I’m still taking it all in.” He straightened his legs and moved to the edge of the bed. “I’m sorry things are the way they are.”
“What do you mean?”
Sam looked up at him. “I’m sorry shifter bullshit put you in this position.”
Laxus chuckled. “And you doubt I’m going to fall for you?” He laughed again.
Sam didn’t understand what he meant. He hadn’t said anything to endear himself. All he’d done was express sympathy. “What?”
“You’re so concerned about the money I spent to free you. So worried I won’t be pleased with you. You seem kind and compassionate, and I hope I’m right. Most men would be thinking of their narrow escape, or something else related solely to themselves, like how to take advantage of the wealth I just mentioned or how to keep me at bay for a year.”
“I don’t care about the money, though I’m glad you didn’t actually give up your life savings.” Sam paused, not sure if he wanted to go on. Taking a dep breath, he said, “Your eyes don’t bother me, and neither do the scars. It’s just I don’t desire men.”
“But you aren’t scared? Or repulsed?”
Sam shook his head. Laxus’s eyes were odd, their shape more like the eyes of his panther form and their color so bright and bold, but Sam was getting used to them.
“Then I’ll tell you what you can do.”
Sam swallowed. “What?”
Laxus reached over to run one hand up his thigh. “Undress and let me see if I can rouse you. If I can, I’d like to pleasure you.”
Sam swallowed again, his throat tight this time. “All right.” He began to undress, very aware of his smaller and less muscular build. He was not overweight or out of shape, but he didn’t compare to Laxus. Sam’s cock was already partially erect, and he wanted to cover himself.
But he didn’t. He’d agreed to this and had to see it through, even if Laxus was so rich he didn’t miss three million credits worth of gold, silver, and opals. Sam sat back on the bed, and no sooner had he settled than Laxus was spreading Sam’s legs and running his hands up them.
Laxus’s strength could be felt even in that light touch, and Sam tried to relax. A low growl came from Laxus, and Sam looked into the man’s face. Those eyes were fixed on him, and Sam couldn’t look away. Laxus’s hands kept exploring, moving up Sam’s body.
“Your skin’s soft, almost hairless,” Laxus said. Sam eyed Laxus, taking in how thick the dark hair on his arms and chest really was. That shifter gene had certainly come in strong. Sam had always been smooth skinned, though the hair around the base of his cock was thick. Laxus’s thumbs flicked Sam’s nipples, making Sam gasp. Laxus chuckled once more. “And you’re responsive.”
Sam felt his shaft growing, and soon Laxus moved back down his body.
“Mmmm, very responsive.” Laxus gripped Sam’s shaft and pumped it with surprising gentleness. He withdrew his hand and dipped his head, lapping at Sam’s balls first. His tongue had a hint of roughness to it, which only increased Sam’s pleasure. No one had ever kissed or licked his balls before, and he liked it, even if the mouth on his body did belong to a male.
Sam actually cried out when Laxus ran his tongue up the length of Sam’s cock before taking the entire shaft into his mouth. That tongue kept working its magic as Sam struggled for breath. He gave a little whimper, his face flaming at the embarrassing sound.
Laxus drew back and nuzzled Sam’s stomach. “I’m not hurting you?”
“Depends on your definition.” Sam still panted as he looked down.
Laxus nipped at his thigh. “Say you want more.” He licked one ball, then the other. “Ask me to make you come.”
Sam pressed his lips together. Enjoying the man’s touch was different from actually saying things like that. “I … don’t think…” He reached down to stroke his own shaft, but Laxus captured his hand.
“No,” Laxus whispered. “If you come, it’s going to be in my mouth.”
Sam closed his eyes, trying to get control of himself. “I signed. You can do what you want.”
“And I want you to say it,” Laxus said. He licked Sam’s palm and then sucked on two of his fingers. Laxus stroked Sam’s shaft. “Your balls are so full and heavy. Your cock’s throbbing with need.”
“I … want to come.”
“Ask me.”
Sam looked away, unable to do it. Laxus crawled up his body and licked the shell of his ear. “I want to taste you so much, I’ll let it slide,” Laxus said, licking his pulse point this time. “For now.”
Laxus kissed back down his body and then drew his shaft in again. This time, he suckled slowly, teasing Sam. He brought him to the edge several times but never let him go over. He reached up and pinched Sam’s nipples, twisting and flicking them, the sensations shooting right down Sam’s spine and straight to his aching cock. Sam whimpered. Looking up, Laxus smiled. “Love the way your cock feels in my mouth.” He crawled back up Sam’s body. “And the way your eyes give away your arousal when I say dirty things.”
Sam closed his eyes and turned his head, and Laxus chuckled as he kissed and licked Sam’s neck.
“Such a promising beginning, Sam. Already I know how to drive you half mad,” Laxus said. He gripped Sam’s shaft and pumped it.
Sam cried out. “Please let me come. Please.”
Growling even louder, Laxus got down on his knees between Sam’s legs. He nuzzled Sam’s balls and then swallowed him down. He sucked aggressively, and Sam couldn’t help pumping into Laxus’s mouth. He could feel the vibrations of Laxus purring radiating up his cock, and the sensation sent pleasure zinging through him. Sam came with another cry, his release almost painful in its intensity. Pleasure washed over him as his body went limp. Laxus swallowed his cum until he knew he had to be empty. Then Sam felt that rough tongue cleaning him and licking his balls and thighs. Laxus flipped him over, and Sam didn’t know what was happening … until he heard flesh slapping against flesh. He turned his head enough to see Laxus with his head thrown back and his fingers wrapped around his own shaft. He looked down at Sam as he pumped himself, and then he grabbed Sam’s hips to raise his ass. Sam held his breath as he watched the thick ropes of cum shoot from Laxus’s very large and thick cock. The cum landed all over Sam’s ass and back, and Laxus gave a low roar as he pumped.
Sam trembled yet couldn’t look away. He remembered what Laxus had said about his beast never fully receding, and he certainly believed it now. When he was done, Laxus leaned down and kissed Sam’s neck before rising from the bed. He returned with a cloth, first wiping his own cock and then cleaning the cum from Sam’s body. Sam rolled to his back when Laxus was done, wondering what would come next.
Laxus tucked his cock away and took the cloth into the refresher. He came back over to Sam and sat on the bed, resting one hand on Sam’s side, just above his ass. “I think it’s safe to say you’re open to being with me.”
“It felt good,” Sam said, feeling as if he had to say or do something.
“And you tasted good. Hot and thick, almost spicy.”
Sam blushed.
Laxus’s hand moved over Sam’s ass. “You like dirty talk. I can tell.”
Sam shrugged one shoulder.
“You seem to do that when you’re embarrassed to admit something.”
Sam didn’t reply, feeling even more embarrassed that Laxus was noting his behavior so closely, and drawing the right conclusions so quickly.
Laxus’s finger slid down his crack but didn’t explore any more than that. “Can’t wait to slide my tongue into you. Hear you cry out.”
Sam watched Laxus, unable to think of anything to say.
“I’ll let you rest. And think. When we arrive, we’ll eat. You can ask me more questions if you have them. We’ll still have a good part of the day to explore your new home, if you like.”
Grabbing one of the pillows, Sam hugged it to his chest. He wanted to hide under the covers like a child and block this confusing situation out, but he wouldn’t do that. “All right.” He wanted to get dressed again as well, but he didn’t want to put the prison-issued clothes back on just yet.
“You have none now?” Laxus asked.
Sam shook his head.
Laxus leaned down. His breath was hot on the side of Sam’s face. “Just give me a chance. Already I crave more of you. If you’re as sweet as I think you are, I won’t need a year to fall in love with you.”
Sam’s eyes snapped wide, and he turned his head to look up at Laxus. If they were lovers, they would kiss right now. But they weren’t. Sam had no idea what they were. “I can’t promise more than that. A chance.”
“Good enough for me. I’m getting greedy and overexcited. I count myself very lucky, Sam.”
Sam looked away, and instead of saying more, Laxus merely caressed his hair and moved away, grabbing his shirt and putting it back on as he left. He turned in the doorway. “Come find me if you need something.”
Sam nodded but didn’t look up. When Laxus was gone, he gazed at the empty doorway. Even though he now knew that Laxus hadn’t sacrificed as much as he’d thought, Sam had still pretty much rolled over and given in completely. Backpedaling would be hard, and he wondered how patient Laxus would be. He also wondered how patient he really wanted the other man to be. Laxus’s domination of him, his demanding nature, and yes, the dirty words and phrases … they’d done something to Sam. He closed his eyes, still feeling the warm stripes of cum on his ass, even though he’d been wiped clean.
Sam had always been the aggressor, at least until his boss’s daughter had climbed into his bed and used him like little more than a hired stud. Had that been the appeal? Sam sighed and rolled over as he tried to sort out his feelings about Laxus and his current situation.
His thoughts ended in confusion as he tried to block out images of Laxus doing far more aggressive things to him.
